Conversion to Trusted OS and password length
I have a HP-UX 11.11 system I want to convert to trusted. A large number of users have a short password (two characters). After the conversion will they be able to use this password or are they immediately forced to change their password?
thanks,
Mario

Re: Conversion to Trusted OS and password length
I found only this for trusted systems:
"A user with an empty password will be forced to set a password upon login on a Trusted System. "
After converting to trusted mode short passwords will be converted, but users will not be forced to change it.
regards,
ivan

Re: Conversion to Trusted OS and password length
They will be able to use the same password but once it expires they will have to follow the rules when creating a new one. minimum of 6 chars
