Re: Convert HP-UX 11.9 to Oracle 9i
wow, that's some question... I hope you weren't expecting "detailed steps" as an application migration from one backend database to another is *potentially* an extremely complex project with many man-years worth of effort. Asking "how do I do this" in a forum is prehaps not the best place to start... however as a starting point you might want to look at Oracle's migration center here:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/migration/index.html
If I were in your shoes, I'd be looking for consultative advice - if you have very little money to spend then I'd be asking whoever you are buying your Oracle licenses off to give some indication of the process as part of their deal (after all they want you to buy those Oracle licenses)

Re: Convert HP-UX 11.9 to Oracle 9i
Shalom,
Its a pretty big project.
The HP-9000 series servers are also no longer sold by HP. You might want to add to the fun by converting to hardware that is still sold and the 11.31 OS.
