Was wondering someone can point me in the right direction for some info on how to "convert" a physical HPUX OS to a HPVM?
Any advice is very much appreciated

Re: Converting a physical HPUX to a HPVM
Shalom,
Do an Ignite make_net_recovery to an NFS share. Boot a new VM machine and try to restore using that image on an Ignite server.
Ignite is the only approved method for such conversions. I'm not certain if make_net_recovery or a more complex golden image replication is appropriate in this instance.

Re: Converting a physical HPUX to a HPVM
SEP, would a normal make_tape_recovery suffice? There is no ignite server in the environment.
Thanks!
