Converting from HPUX 10.20 to 11.xx

I have quite a few servers running HPUX 10.20. I will eventually have to convert to 11.xx (at least by 6/2003). My question is, will the client applications (written mostly in MFCobol some in ANSI C) run unchanged on a converted 32-bit HPUX 11.xx OS?

I also have Sybase and Oracle currently running. Will they run on 32-bit 11.xx as is, or will I have to upgrade them? (This may be better asked of the vendor).

I am trying to get a feel as to how disruptive upgrading from 10.20 to 11.xx will be for me and my clients.

Re: Converting from HPUX 10.20 to 11.xx

Hi:

1. The general concensus in this formum is that it is better to cold install 11.x than to update from 10.20 to 11.x.

2. For some Oracle information see:
