Converting LVM root disk to VxVM

Is there any way to convert a LVM root disk to VxVM disk on a system with only 2 physical disks? The problem is: if the target disk is already member of rootdg, vxcp_lvmroot is not working.

There is a command to convert, but it destroys the existing LVM configuration. I would suggest trying an Ignite make_tape_recovery backup and restore. I believe you can elect to create VxVM disks during the restore.

Take two Ignite backups before you start.

I think Pete's Ignite suggestion is the only one that has real hope.

Might be abel to do it in hpux -lm mode.
