Copy files from windows to Unix

Hi,

Is there anyway by which I can copy files from a windows machine to a HP-UX machine with the following restrictions?

1. I cannot use rcp/ftp.
2. I cannot ask the users to enter a password.
3. I cannot use any third party tools from windows as it may not be installed in the user’s machine.

A floppy disk would seem to meet your
criteria, if the HP-UX system has a floppy
drive.

"windows" does not define the available
software very well. Windows 3.1? 95? 98?
2000? XP Pro?

Look into SAMBA, you can share the Unix Folder such that it is visible on the network and to the client PC (windows-based)

CIFS/Samba could be an option. If configured to authenticate off your Windows PDC you shouldn't need to manually enter a password. No 3rd party s/w is required on the PC - just map a network drive.

There's lots of documentation on http://docs.hp.com and the latest CIFS software can be downloaded from http://software.hp.com
