Crash Recovery

Hello,
Could someone please point me to documentation for restore/recovery in the event of hardware crash. Running HP-UX 10.20 on D390 server. Not emergency yet, but there is no recovery plan in house at this time. Pretty scary.

I would recommend Ignite/UX and a make_recovery tape.

Backup is the most important factor in the event of system crash.
Try to consider good backup policy like how often full backups should be made and how many increamental backups should be made between full backups.

Backup is the only way of saving your valuable data from unexpected system panic.
