Create depot- How To

Hi!

I just compiled some packages on a test-HP-UX 11.23 and I want to create a depot out of it, so that it can be installed on other servers, but as I am not very familiar with HP-UX, I don't know how to do this. Is there any tutorial on this, or a guide or something?

Hi Kalin,

You can use 'swpackage' to create a depot file. Check the man page of swpackage :

# man swpackage

Hi kalin,
swpackage is the command as already told above. Remember HPUX pakaging is bit complex as compared to others so refer the doc's in depth.
