create shadow file on 10.20 systems

I need to create a shadow file on a couple of systems. These systems are also NIS clients. any thoughts?

To use secure login on system you should use trusted system. Configure this via SAM->Security

Hi,

I'm afraid you cannot have a 10.20 trusted system with NIS. The end of support date for 10.20 is a couple of weeks away - have you considered 11.x and NIS+?

If you can't use trusted systems, 'tsconvert', (* or refer to SAM *) then try SSH.
