Creating a File in TFTP directory

I am trying to have a network device write its configuration to a tftpd running on HPUX V. B.11.00. But unless I do a touch to create a zero byte file I can not get the transfer to complete. Sense this is an automatic system we need to have TFTP allow file creatation. Is there a way to do this in HPUX?

Rob,

This is currently being considered for HP-UX but has not been implemented. There is an open enhancement request in the labs for this issue.
