curl for 11.0

Where can i found a version of curl and it dependencies for UX 11.0. Can someone give me a link, or can send it with mail.

You can download and install Curl from Intrenet express suite, Curl A.06.00-7.15.1

Whne you install Internet express curl, you dont need any dependencies.

Note : You can install it on 11.11, copy binaries to 11.0

Hello,
i have installed the Curl from Intrenet express suite, Curl A.06.00-7.15.1 on a 11.11 machine and copied the directory /opt/iexpress to a 11.0 machine, but on 11.11 it works and on 11.0 i get the error: /usr/lib/dld.sl Unresolve symbol inet_pton from /opt/iexpress/curl/lib/libcurl.sl.3
any ideas, how i can resolve this problem.

did not realise you can always run HP11.11 compiled binaries on a HP11.00 machine!

Thats why I gave you address to get source code.

http://curl.haxx.se/download.html does have an entry for HPUX11.0, but seems to fail.

You have have to go to the download mirror sites, if you can get assistance with your current problem.

You may need to recompile curl on 11.0 machine since error: /usr/lib/dld.sl Unresolve symbol inet_pton from /opt/iexpress/curl/lib/libcurl.sl.3

You can take a look the steps to compile from Readme.hp file in /opt/iexpress/curl/Readme.hp

If you want to compile on ur own, you need to install compiler like GCC.

Run-time dependencies: libgcc gettext libiconv libidn openssl zlib

Yes, Porting center depots are for 11.11 and 11.23. You can try to install them on a 11.0 machine. Just give a try to install any of the dependency depots.

no need to compile !!
The required libs can be found as depots at:
ftp://ftp.thewrittenword.com/packages/by-name/
The depots needed are:
gnutls
libidn
zlib
On this site you can get the HP11.0 depots.
If you install this first and then re-try your curl depot, it should work.

It seems, that i can download files, when i use the complete path, i can download the curl package from following link: http://curl.haxx.se

I am not sure, must i pay something for the software, if i understand it correct i need only to pay for media and update service, why can i not download it, or what password do i need? Or can you send me the complete links to the packages if you can search it on this server.

Even i am not able to access ftp site. If this is urgent, and if you have a build machine, start compiling these products on 11.0 or you have to wait till Peter comes back.

You can try this site as well, it has got some depots for 11.0 like gcc,

The attachment I sent was:
libidn-0.5.20.depot.tar.Z

So you have to (on your UNIX platform):
uncompress libidn-0.5.20.depot.tar.Z
tar -xvf libidn-0.5.20.depot.tar
then use swinstall to install from depot

1. Gunzip the using:
gunzip 273429.Z

2. Untar the file 273429
mkdir tmp
mv 273429 tmp/
cd tmp/
tar -xvf 273429
