Default init level is missing in /etc/inittab
Greetings,
Accidentally /etc/inittab got corrupted as follows in my test server rp3410 server with hp-ux 11.23.
And after rebooting the system didnâ t come to run level 3.
See the attached files:
1. corrupted /etc/inittab
2. Console log after reboot
3. And console log of normal bootup
Is this an expected behavior ??
bcoz I read somewhere long back that a â missing init level entryâ should make the server prompt you the required run-level⠦⠦⠦⠦.
No guess-work please for points.....Please reply if you are confident on this topic.
