Determining Firmware on HP Tachyon TL/TS/XL2
The command fcmsutil /dev/td0 gives the following information:
Vendor ID is = 0x00103c
Device ID is = 0x001028
TL Chip Revision No is = 2.3
PCI Sub-system Vendor ID is = 0x00103c
PCI Sub-system ID is = 0x000006
Topology = PRIVATE_LOOP
Local N_Port_id is = 0x000001
Local Loop_id is = 125
N_Port Node World Wide Name = 0x50060b06560700d4
N_Port Port World Wide Name = 0x50060b00088700d7
Driver state = ONLINE
Hardware Path is = 0/3/0
Number of Assisted IOs = 20103413
Number of Active Login Sessions = 1
Dino Present on Card = NO
Maximum Frame Size = 992
Driver Version = @(#) libtd.a HP Fibre Channel Tachyon

I am trying to determine the firmware level. When using the vpd parameter i get the message "vpd not supported on this card". How do i determine firmware level for this card. Thanks.

Charles at first I thought you might be able to get this from stm, but that was incorrect.
The line that reads:
TL Chip Revision No is = 2.3
that is the Chip version. There is no other firmware version for these cards.

this card has no firmware upgrades
