/dev/pty ownership ??


What is the proper ownership and group for the character files under /dev/pty ??

Some of ours are bin:tty and others root:root ?

The directory is bin:bin and the files within are bin:tty.

For the files
bin:tty crw-rw-rw

For the directory
bin:bin drwxr-xr-x
