Disk Controller

Hi,
Is there any command which tells how many disk controller are in the box?

Pl, reply urgently if possible because we are going to carry out performance activity on database level which needs oracle datafile seperation in terms of physical volume/disk controller.

Well, I assume you are looking for SCSI and FC HBAs.

To limit the ioscan output a bit, run

ioscan -fnCfc
to find the FC adapters
and
ioscan -fnCext_bus
to find HBAs in general.

Also for more options and thier meanings please refer to the man page for ioscan.
