Re: disk mirror

Buy MIRROR DISK/UX from HP and mirror your logical volumes defined on your disks.

Re: disk mirror

Hi Sanman,

If i were you, i think i would mirror the disk in this manner,

c1t6d0 ------------->Mirror c2t6d0 , probably root disk
c3t0d0 ------------->Mirror c3t6d0
c3t1d0 ------------->Mirror c3t7d0
c3t2d0 ------------->Mirror c3t8d0
c3t3d0 ------------->Mirror c3t9d0

Hope this helps.

Thanks

http://docs.hp.com/cgi-bin/fsearch/framedisplay?top=/hpux/onlinedocs/B2355-90742/B2355-90742_top.html&con=/hpux/onlinedocs/B2355-90742/00/00/49-con.html&toc=/hpux/onlinedocs/B2355-90742/00/00/49-toc.html&searchterms=Managing%20Mirrored%20File%20Systems%20%20%20&queryid=20011010-063916

concentrate on the section, "Managing Mirrored File Systems ".

Hope this helps.
