I have an rx8640 and am going to put my OS (hp-ux11.23) my doubt is, can I make disk 1/0/0/2/0.6.0 as my first disk ? This is connected to cell-2, I will be creating multiple Vpars in this N-par. Will this be an issue if I use the disk which is connected to cell-1 ??
Here are mt disks.
0/0/0/2/0.6.0 disk HP 73.4GST373454LC
0/0/0/3/0.6.0 disk HP 73.4GST373454LC
1/0/0/2/0.6.0 disk HP 73.4GST373454LC
1/0/4/1/1.0.0 disk HP 73.4GST373454LC
1/0/4/1/1.2.0 disk HP 73.4GST373454LC
1/0/4/1/1.4.0 disk HP 73.4GST373454LC
Thanks in advance
Vijayy

Solution
Why not using this?
1/0/0/2/0.6.0 is an internal disk, there is no problem to use this.
BTW,
0/0/0/2/0.6.0 disk HP 73.4GST373454LC
0/0/0/3/0.6.0 disk HP 73.4GST373454LC
are internal too.
The fourth internal slot would be
1/0/0/3/0.6.0.
Did we discuss this already???

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
