I have some systems with 4GB hard drives. I plan on a cold install of HP-UX 11.00. I understand that I need to have 1GB swap. Will a 4GB disk be adequate?
Why can't we all get along?

Re: Disk size for HP-UX 11.00
Hi Bruce,
It is okay to use 4Gb, but you have to watch the logs as the grow with time and 1Gb for swap is adequate, but you have to set the following kernel parameters for flexibility in swapping:
allocate_fs_swapmap=0
swapmem_on=1
Cheers!
