diskspace.sh

I have recently downloaded the diskspace.sh script from the unsupported tools area at hp. Something Bill Hassell used to put out there.

I got a script for diskspace checking, but it seems to have some trouble with the / filesystem.

Does anyone have a working version of it?

Re: diskspace.sh

If i put in
vxfs hfs
94 2
/ 75
it picks up the last value on the previous line. I.e it checks that / is greater than 2% and then the second time i run it, i get the follwoing error:

./diskspace.sh[378]: LASTVALUE + INCR: The specified number is not valid for this command.

Re: diskspace.sh

Hi
try soemthing like this in your /etc/diskspace.conf

vxfs hfs
10 2
/ 10 2

when I did it like you have your set up i got the same error
./diskspace.sh[366]: LASTVALUE + INCR: The specified number is not valid for thi
s command.

But when I added a 2 after the 10 for / the error went away.

Re: diskspace.sh

that worked if it were the only filesystem. If i had other "customized" ones below it, i still had problems.

I made it the last on the list adding both numeric values after each and this seems to have resolved the remaining issue.
