I am working on an install of Rocket Unidata for 64 bit HP-UX. During the install I get the following error:
/usr/lib/pa20_64/dld.sl unable to find library libpam.1
I have tried everything I can think of and cannot figure out why. There is a libpam.1 in /usr/lib so it should work.
System: rp3440
OS: HP-UX 11i Version 1 (64bit)
(I did double check this)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Tim

On HP-UX 11i v1 PAM package delivers only 32-bit PAM libraries. You need to install PA64 package to get 64-bit PAM libraries.
For more details, and to download PAM64...

						You two are awsome!!!
I down loaded the PAM64 and installed it. Then uninstalled the application I was working with and reinstalled it. It worked just the way it was supposed to.
I did read in another thread where it said that the libpam.1 32bit and libpam.1 64bit were not interchangeable but I didn't know for sure which one I had.
Thanks again!!
Tim
