DLT Libray configuration

All,

Has anyone successfully configured a HP Surestore Tape Autoloader (1/9) under Legato Networker? I have the device identified on the system (ioscan -fn) as HP C7145-8000 autochanger and Quantum DLT8000 drive. I ran jb_config command and selected "SCSI Jukebox" and the vendor as HP, but it doesn't give me an option for this particular device. I am not sure if it's compatible with Legato :(

OS: HP-UX 11.11
Legato Networker 5.5.5

I am not very familar with terminology in NetWorker but is SCSI-Jukebox correct. Is there no SCSI-library or Autoloader.

It sounds strange if your autoloader is not supported, I think it is rather common.

Thanks for your response. Yes, that's the only available "SCSI" option on the main menu. After you select it, you have the option for the vedor (which HP) and then the product name. It lists around 18 different Jukeboxes, but not the one I want (C7145-8000). Now even if I decide to go with a similar one, it won't allow me to do so.

Thanks for the link, but that didn't help that much :( I had those guides in hand, but didn't help me much on this issue. This has instructions about configuring it in Windows, but not in HP-UX with Legato. I checked the compatibility guide and Legato is in it, but doesn't have much information about which version?

Any more inputs are welcome.
