DNS - BIND 9.2.2

Hi,

I have downloaded the source for bind 9.2.2 from www.isc.org. (BIND 9.2.2 and PGP Signature). Now what is this PGP signature is all about??. What should I do with the signature file??. Pl .let me know.

The ISC and PGP

The ISC has a PGP key. PGP means "pretty good privacy," and you can learn a lot more about it at PGP Corporation. PGP is a public key system, which means that if you have our public key and we sign a mail message (or a BIND distribution) using our private key, you can have a moderate confidence level that the message or distribution really did come from us. Our PGP key is here.


Thus is is a security issue.
