Does Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit B.01.08 supports Oracle 8i (81730) and HP-UX 11.11 ?

Hi,

1) We have HP-UX 11i v1 (B.11.11 U)installed with Oracle Oracle 8i (81730) and the HA MC/ServiceGuard Version is A.11.14 (B3935DA) with Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit B.01.08 (B5139DA)

2) As per HP Docs(Http://www.docs.hp.com/en/B5139-90053/B5139-90053.pdf) the toolkit only supports Oracle 9i and HPUX 11i ver 1.6 (B.11.22).

3)Is MC/ServiceGuard Version A.11.14 and the toolkit can be downloaded free for single HP-UX 11.11 Server? If yes, please advise the link.

(Ref item 2 above) Although the applications in the clusters are working fine with the above configuration, but I am still not satisfied after my findings in the HP document that it only supports Oracle 9i and HP-UX 11.22.

If you have HP Support contract with serviceguard, you should be able to get the ECM toolkit from application.

according to this chart:

v B.01.07 was the last version to support Oracle 8i

Note that Oracle 8i is out of support from Oracle, and Serviceguard 11.14 is out of support from HP (the only version still supported on 11iv1 is 11.16). I wouldn't be surprised if v B.01.07 of the toolkit is also out of support.
