DRD (Dynamic Root Disk) opinions and usage
I was wondering if anyone has any experience of using DRD and what the opinions are around it? and what scenarios people are using it in?
Also in reading the documentation it seems to recommend using DRD on servers with 3 or more Disks in vg00 and not on system with 2 disks which are mirrored to each other as using one could lead to having a SPOF.
Now most of my boxes are 2 disk vg00 volume groups, yet it seems that this would be perfect for my needs - patching, upgrades etc...

Re: DRD (Dynamic Root Disk) opinions and usage
Hi,
I have not try, but i look this.
First version is apparently bugged, it's running with a default installation
For example, if you created /var/adm/crash, it's not by default and it's not running.
Apparently new version resolve this problems
Regards
