DS-2100 on a D-Class?

I am looking at a new DS-2100 disk system for a D-280. I don???t see where they say it is compatible, however, they do say you will run it in SE mode. So my question is, will the DS-2100 work on the internal SCSI-2 SE bus of a D-Class? Anyone have experience with this configuration?
Thanks,

The DS2100 Disk Subsystem is not supported on any D-class system.

I think that Melvyn Burnard shed more than a little light on the issue in the previous posting, but I will add my 2 cents worth anyway!

I found that the on-board NSE SCSI bus on the D-Classes is particularly fussy. I had issues with LVD disks as well as FWSE.....

I found that to get all issues solved it was a good idea to:
1) Hard jumper the LVD disks into FWSE mode.
2) You MUST use an in line terminated cable, that is 50WayMicroD to 68WayMicroD (or UHD/VHD) with the 9 floating lines termiated.

there you are, R0.02 (thats Rands -- I don't use dollars!)
