I was going to suggest YST but thought as Dennis did, that this was Canadian time. So your correct timezone is YST9YDT and the good news is that tztab has the proper history in it. Just edit one file: /etc/TIMEZONE and change the TZ assignment. Then login and your local time should be fine.

Here is what I have done and what my system time is.

date –u 03131703 (usno site)

/sbinj/set_parms timezone (YST)

Booted my server

root: /root ==> date
Tue Mar 13 09:03:43 YDT 2007

root: /root ==> date -u
Tue Mar 13 17:03:47 UTC 2007

root: /root ==> echo ${TZ}
YST9YDT
