dst problem

Hello, i have a rp3440 in Panamá, we have a problem because in some month, the time change
in one hora but we don't want it..
how can we eliminate this problem?

You probably have TZ set to a wrong value ?

# echo $TZ

Simply set TZ to a value without a DST defined:

Suppose that your current TZ setting (and I'm making this up) is "XST5XDT"; if you simply redefine it to "XST5" then your time will always be 5 hours after UTC.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

is CST6CDT; but how i know what should be the value correct in panama city?

Well CST6CDT is for the US only. And as Clay mentioned, you can set it to CST6 if you don't have daylight saving. Hawaii doesn't need it because it is near the equator.

To get the correct timezone info, you have to contact someone local. Or see if you can google for an official database of timezones.
