dtpad X print CDE TPS font size HP-UX11iv1

HP-UX11.00
Printing out of dtpad using TPS does a frame, footer and header selectable by "Print Setup". Font size is setup in file: /etc/dt/app-defaults/C/Dtpad
Output looks nice.

HP-UX11iv1 (11.11)
Standard installation using CD HP-UX 11i Version 1 TCOE September 2005
Print output has font height of 1mm which saves paper but isn't easy to read, setup file /etc/dt/app-defaults/C/Dtpad as for 11.00 but isn't used.
Support call resulted in:
1. Installation of all patches for 11iv1
2. A lot of tests and phone calls
3. TPS doesn't work under HP-UX11i
4. Workaround: define in file etc/rc.config.d/desktop DTPRTSVR=LP
Print output looks like 20 years ago.

Solution (not supported by HP):
Remove "TechPrintServ" using SAM
Copy from a running HP-UX 11.00 system to the system running HP-UX 11iv1 the files:
/usr/lib/X11/Xserver/brokers/extensions/Xp.1
/usr/lib/X11/Xserver/brokers/print/Xpddx.1
/usr/lib/X11/Xserver/modules/extensions/hp/xp.1
/usr/lib/X11/Xserver/modules/print/hp/*
/usr/sbin/tpsconfig
/usr/newconfig/usr/lib/X11/fs/libfont.1

Now printing is ok.
