DVD drive not presenting on rx3600

I have a new rx3600 that did not come with a DVD drive installed. I have since purchased a HP DVD drive to install in this machine and now cannot see it, through either ioscan or the EFI menu. My first thought was that it was a SCSI conflict issue, but upon further review, I don't even see where I could set the SCSI ID on the DVD itself. This appeared to be a very simple install, but I'm obviously missing something.

Any help is appreciated.

what kind of DVD have you attached? can you also paste the part/product number. It may help...

Gentlemen,

I sincerely appreciate your help. I was unaware that the DVD was USB, so once I tossed drivers for UsbBulkOnlyMS and UsbScsiAdapter into the kernel and rebooted, I can see my DVD drive.
