ebs matrix (Serverless Backup)

i'm reading the ebs matrix. i'd like to know what does it mean "Serverless Backup" ?

Backuping up server data to low cost media'a as tape or disks. It will not occupy server resources for backup operation. It is worth wide on taking backup.

i have the fowllowing architecture:
2 rp7410 servers, an eva3000 , an MSL5060 library connected via two san switches.

i have a DATA PROTECTOR server on Win2003.

i'd like to know if i am in a "serverless backup" situation or no ?
