EFI Partition with -S option

Hi,
I have created an EFI partition over the entire disk using -S option.
I copied the EFI partitioned disk to a new disk having larger size then the current one.
After migration when i check disk partition info of the new disk, it gives the partition info along with the following note:

NOTE: This disk appears to have grown since the partition
table was written. Use idisk with the -G option to
extend the usable space to fill the disk.

Next i use the -G option to extend the partition info for the entire disk, and it extends the partition info to the entire disk.

After this i execute insf -e to create device files and it succeeds.

Problem:
The problem is that if I create EFI partition without -S option, then after migration i am not able extend the partition to the entire disk and also it won't create device files for the new disk with the partition info present in it.

Could anyone tell me what could be the problem and the solution for it?

Thanks & Regards,
Nihar
