there is a EMS notification saying that:
The computer can not connect to
the AM60Srvr.
The status on the disk array is not currently available.
but in fact the ps -ef|grep AM60Srvr shows the AM60Srvr running,
in the recommandation it is said that you need to:
Restart AM60Srvr, or if still running, stop and restart the AM60Srvr.
I am not sure what it is AM60Srvr for?
What it exactly does, is just a monitoring tool ?
Is it ok to start and stop it?
does it affect other apps running?
Does it affect fc60 disk array?
thanks guys

Re: EMS Alarms for AM60Srvr
According to man page:
AM60Srvr must be running to allow management of the disk array using the command line utilities. Host I/Os are not dependent on AM60Srvr and are serviced regardless of whether it is running or not. Because of its importance in managing the disk arrays, AM60Srvr is launched automatically when the system is booted.
If the EMS alarm is recommending to restart it I would do it.

Regards,
Jaime.
