EMS Server on N+1 redundancy

My EMS Servers need to have 1+1 redundancy for HP NNM Server & HP OVPI server. Do i need to install all the components on the redundant server that are there on the main server.

this should be defined by the SLA, not us ;)

but probably yes, and from maintainance and configuration point of view: definitely, You want those systems to be completely identical.
yesterday I stood at the edge. Today I'm one step ahead.
