Emulex Print Server HP9000 L-Class Problem
I have an Okidata 395 set up on an Emulex print server that I need to add to my L-class server but have no idea how to do so. Can I do this with JetAdmin?

Re: Emulex Print Server HP9000 L-Class Problem
As to Bill say, define printer as remote with SAM. SAM create /etc/lp/interface/lp_name.
I have the same problem with TALLY printer.
I was made some changes in scrip lp_name,
replacing command rlp with ftp:
ftp -n -v -g IP_address printer_control_string
ftp -n -v -g IP_address file_to_print
Before send printer_control_string you can make some parsing to received options, and create appropriate string (cpi, lpi, page size ect.)
This way printer will be in control like HP printer defined by JetAdmin.
