enable failure HP-UX 10
I am having a problem enabling a new remote printer I added using SAM. Until I
send a job, everything is fine but the second I send a job, it sits in the
queue. If I run an lpstat -d, I get the message is
down. If I attempt to enable I get the message
enabled but if I do it again, I get the exact same message. It seems like when
there is a job in the queue, is immediately disabled. I cannot
get the printer to remain enabled until I cancel any jobs in the queue and then
type enable. For supplementary info, I am printing to a
Fiery(tm) print server over the LAN. It seems all other networking
funcionality with this machine is up to par. Is there anyone out there that
could help me?

Re: enable failure HP-UX 10
In case anyone was wondering, I stumbled upon the answer by chance. You see,
the destination started to properly accept jobs when I added the printer and
specified that the Fiery box was a BSD machine. Seems weird to me but it
worked.
