Enabling a HPUX Host to Recognize Multiple Devices and LUNs

I have an HPUX host connected to a SAN. I have multiple LUNS mapped to the host. I would like to move my host connection from a directly attached connection to a connection through our SAN switch which is currently serving many other hosts. My problem is when I move the host up to the switch and power the box back up, it does not see the LUNS presented to it. When I move it back to the direct connection to the SAN, everything is fine. I also noted that my host will recognize a LUN only if it is mapped on LUN 0. Any ideas? Thank you in advance for help/suggestions.

It means you need to "mask" the access in the san switch.

As stated by Geoff you need to do fabric zoning and LUN masking on the SAN switch in order for the HPUX host to see the storage LUNs.

What type of array do you have? If it only recognizes LUN 0 you might need to apply a patch to the array. Best thing would be to open a support call with HP.

It is a Winchester array...According to their support, they said that it is a HPUX change I need to make??? I am filtering the LUNS by WWN.

UPDATE to my original posting. I was mistaken and LUN0 is not seen. Nothing on the SAN is seen.
