Enabling the mouseweel...
I have been searching for an update/patch for HP-UX which enables the mouseweel.
Anyone?

Re: Enabling the mouseweel...
Last time I looked PS/2 wheel mouse devices
were currently unsupported on HP-UX but check the relevant Xserver patch for your O/S ....extract from patch text : PHSS_23555
s700_800 10.20 Xserver cumulative patch
JAGad31818: PS/2 wheel mouse attached via PS/2->USB Y-mouse can hang the Xserver when the wheels rotated. NOTE: PS/2 wheel mouse devices are currently unsupported on HP-UX, but
this defect fix will allow them to be work
in conjunction with a Y-mouse.

Re: Enabling the mouseweel...
I agree with Alex, but it would be interesting in knowing what kind of server you are attaching this to, and what kind of interface.

Re: Enabling the mouseweel...
Thanks for taking the time to answer...
Some additional info:
OP.SYS.: HP-UX 10.20
HW: HP-9000 (C3000)
Mouse: USB mouse
I have printed the info. Alex gave me for implementation and I will return with the result.
Further to my question. It was generaly related to the CDE and netscape interfaces on the C-3000, because when I use the Xterminal X-Win-Pro from "Labtam" I can use the mouse scroller if I set it up in the configuration but not when I'm physically present and logged on the Server (C3000).
