Encoding

I have script which decodes files sent from exchange. They ussually are mime ecoded, but sometimes come in as base64.

I am using munpack now and would like to use a utility that will recognize uuencode, mime and base64.

Any ideas?

Hi Ray,

Have a look at UUDeview, as this automatically detects: MIME, Base64, BinHex, uuencode and (less frequently used) xxencode

Exists in Unix, Windows and DOS versions
