Error cimserver at syslog.log

hi all,

anyone know about error message below?

cimserver[16394]: PGS14000: cimprovagt "HP_NParProviderModule" communication with CIM server failed. Exiting.

i have many errors message mentioned above in my server rp8420 & rp7420. How to stop these error in my syslog.log?

the meaning of this message is that "HP_NParProviderModule" cannot communicate with CIM server. I see two possible reasons for this to happen:

- CIM server is stopped (CIM server is part of WBEM services on HP-UX):

- HP_NParProviderModule is not loaded or it has problems to be running on the HP-UX system:

If yes then please share the current status of the cimserver whether it is running or not or have yu tried starting it manually?

It looks like a bug since everything is working fine. Very similar to JAGag42815: Modify the syslog msg. 'CIM server failed' when not actually an error.

Check WBEM version ?? Have a look at the release notes:

i have already installed the update of libc cumulative patches. let me to monitor my system after installed patches.
