Error during install gsoap in HP-UX

Hi,
I am facing the Following errors during installation of gsoap in HP-UX 11.11, any help in this matter would be highly appreciated

Install and use latest stable gcc version , specify compiler in configure file.

Or you may take a look here also:
http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Gnu/gcc-4.2.3/

I saw the messages and suggested you to go for gcc ;-)

and also suggested you to specify gcc as your compiler in configure file.

You should use +W829 so you can suppress that warning to you can see the forest.
Your particular problem is that you need to install libz:
http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Misc/zlib-1.2.3/

install the depot off your install disk for gtk2.6, GTK 2.6.8.00.01, it has the zlib files in there.

add LDFLAGS="-L/opt/gtk2.6/lib/" to your ./configure arguments and try compiling again.


./configure --prefix=/opt/gsoap/ CC="aCC -AA" CXX="aCC -AA" LDFLAGS="-L/opt/gtk2.6/lib/"

I ran across errors trying to put -AA in CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS, that is why I stuck them in with CC and CXX

-AA is an aCC option and it should work with CXXFLAGS.

You should not be doing this either: CC="aCC -AA"
