I just run make_recovery -v -A -d /dev/rmt/0m and received the following error:
message=N::Boot device is: 1/0/0/3/0.6.0
# ACTION NAME:CONFIG_SAVE
save_config: Error - get_system_info failed to get IO information from IO listener.
ERROR: /opt/ignite/bin/save_config failed.
Can someone please help me resolved this issue? Currently were running on HPUX 11.23 RX7640.

SolutionBecause, it's checking every device to see if it is a boot device on a PA system.
I would suggest you to install latest version of ignite and try...

Could you post the complete error ooutput from youur ignite command, and why are you using make_recovery? This is the old recovery command, you should use the make_tape_recovey command.

Check print_manifest runs smoothly or not. Updating ignite dosnt harm your system. It dosnt require any reboot too.

You did a
make_recovery -v -A -d /dev/rmt/0m
but it should be
make_tape_recovery -v -A -a /dev/rmt/0mn
