Hi:
The syslog.log on our T520 consistently get the following error message. The device the OS is referring to is a Multitech rack modem that is connected to a DTC.
If anyone could translate what the error message is reading, that might help me pinpoint the problem.
Many Thanks
Nov 27 01:01:01 ccchpc06 ocd[2849]: (108) ERROR: Received SIGINT signal
Nov 27 01:01:01 ccchpc06 ocd[2849]: (109) ERROR: Cleaning up daemon for pseudonym /dev/telnet/ir023_mod1 a
nd device at node 10.10.1.22 board 3 port 11

Solution
Not really enough info to go on, so much depends on configuration, network scenario etc...
Some thoughts;
Check if rbootd is working.
If not check /etc/rc.config.d/netdaemons, put START_RBOOTD=1
/sbin/init.d/rbootd start
Check firmware is up to date, has been known to cause this error.
Check TCP timer on DTC and telnet_ timer/close_timer/timing_mark in PCF file.

Re: Error in /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log I can't decipher
Errors for OCD processes can come from several sources; I've seen them crop up because of errors in the printer interface file, for example (/etc/lp/interface).
Check that printer's entry in /etc/ddfa/dp, also.
