Hi
I am trying to install HP-UX 11.31 on a BL870c i4, using my laptop, so inserting the DVD1 on the cdrom drive of the laptop, them using virtual media to mout the dvd, them issuing remote console on the web browser, but after the message Booting kerel... I have the following message:
unknown processor family?
What is the date printed on the install media?
Too old to support the "i4" blade?

IIRC the system came out in 2012, so a version around year 2012 is likely the minimum.

I have managed to get the March 2014 media kit, but I am unable to install HP-UX, the installation screen is standing now for one hour like this:
I am still not able to install the operating system. What could be wrong?

I have logged into the console via web browser, and mounted the DVD on my pc using virtual media.

the "map -r" command shows the following:
and the internal disks LEDs are not lit, do not blink, it seems that the disks have no activity.
Is this the issue?
