Error with rdist command (host address mismatch)

Why appears next message when is executed rdist command?

server1> rdist -c $(pwd)/message 120.123.342.567
updating host 120.123.342.567
remshd: Host address mismatch

hi,

could u do a nslookup on the host:

# nslookup

it could be some error in the /etc/hosts or the DNS (if configure) is not resolving that hostname.

The IP address you're using is not valid (120.123.342.567).
