I started again the system, but this did not change anything

this is the Support Tool Manager... I think in your case it is configured that it will write an email every time when a monitor was started or produced an output...

so the best: change your settings that it will write to a logfile and only send a mail to root in critical cases !!!

There's a known issue where EMS restarts every 15 minutes. You need to patch EMS...

HP-UX 11.00 PHSS_25843 + dependencies
HP-UX 11.11 PHSS_26947 _ dependencies.

We had the exact same problem on an L-class running 11.00. We applied the patch John mentions and we have had no problems since. Always ensure that the patches are not superceded and that patch dependancies are installed.
