Re: Event Monitor Restart Notification

hi,

could be a disk problem but the seriousness of this is not stated.

u may like to reply the last few events relating to this stated in /var/opt/resmon/log/event.log which will gives us a better idea on the severity.

also, what does "dmesg" say?

regards.

Re: Event Monitor Restart Notification

This looks quite normal

Event monitor systems are telling you that it was restarted

>>paris sent Event Monitor Restart information:

which is normal after a reboot.

It also tells you that EMS is monitoring you disks now:

Resources currently monitored:
/storage/events/disks/default/0_0_1_1.2.0
/storage/events/disks/default/0_0_2_0.2.0
/storage/events/disks/default/0_0_2_1.2.0

Re: Event Monitor Restart Notification

Thanks for your fast reply.

I checked event.log file and this is the only message I found.

I suposed this is sent due system was restarted, but why is system still sending message? System was rebooted last friday, so message shouldn't be sent again and again.

I checked system and all seems to be ok at disk, filesystems and applications level. Is there any way to avoid it?

Thanks again and regards,

Carles
