Hi,

I don't really understand the message :-) ... but it seems that in most cases a GSP firmware update would make it disapear.

Regards.

Re: excessive cryptic messages from pat_psm.c in syslog.log

It is related to OLAR (Online Add/Replace) functionality. Get your HP technician to update the PDC and GSP firmware.

The OLAR functionality fails to get info about one of your slots.

Re: excessive cryptic messages from pat_psm.c in syslog.log

If it is an L-Class, install the patch PHSS_25685 (or superseeding) to flash the PDC.

Re: excessive cryptic messages from pat_psm.c in syslog.log

Sorry Lads,

for my belated feedback.

But I had to wait until yesterday evening when I was allowed to bring down the machine.
I installed the recommended patch, and the irritating log entries have disappeared since.

# swlist -l fileset -a state PHSS_25685
