exp to tape failed

exp to tape return follow error:
EXP-00015: error on row 853708 of table ... ...
EXP-00002: error in writing to export file
EXP-00002: error in writing to export file error closing export file /dev/rmt/0m
EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

After deleting some data, the exp worked.
What's the matter?
Did we need another tape?

hi Wang,

how old is the tape ? May be time to change a new media.

If u are using DDS tape, you can see technical spec
