Fail Package over

Dear All,

I want to fail the package over on a 2 node cluster. Could you please confirm I have the correct commands.

O/P from cmviewcl -v

Hi Simon,

I'm not 100% sure what you are asking but if you mean that you want to move the package db over to node br56, you first need to stop it on node br55, and then start it on node br56

cmhaltpkg -n br55 -v db
cmrunpkg -n br56 -v db

Should be enough to re-start db on node br56.
Cooperation is doing with a smile what you have to do anyhow.

Yes that's correct I want to failover the current node to br56 so the commands were fine.

Simon - yes - your commands are fine.

You can also use the Service Guard Manager GUI and move packages with it.
