Hi,

While trying to boot a G60 machine, got the following error messages...

Failed To Initialize

ENTRY_INIT
status = -4

Booting from primary and alternate failed.

Need your help!

There are a number of suggestions in this post. I know that they are talking about a 'D' class server, but the startup of the machine is quite similar.

check whether all the cabling and SCSI termination is OK.
Just do a sea to find out the hard disks.
Try specifying the address path.

This error means either there was a hardware error occured or no bootable 'partition' (ISL loader) was found
